The U-Cut saw is a handsaw that will get you out of a jam when you need a special thickness of foam, or a tapered piece for an inside back. By using a piece of plywood and a small piece of 2×4, you can cut tapered foam. It will cut some grades of foam quite nicely, but other grades will have chatter marks. It is best used if only one side of the foam needs to be smooth or if you are covering the foam with Dacron.
